Dr. Lesslie’s final literary work has been released.
His daughter Amy says, “We are thankful in our weariness that there are beams of light that draw our eyes to earthly gifts. Dad’s final literary offering is one. His hope was always to draw people to truth through his words. It’s not lost on me that he’s still telling us how it is!”
His daughter Lori says, “Daddy’s book came out today; this is the last page of the first chapter:
I had once again been reminded that life is a mystery and truly fragile. We’re given only one, and we need to make it count. We need to find our work and we need to see it through. Not all of us get a second chance.
He always told us to find your work and do it well; he led by example. Opening this when I got home knocked the wind out of me, but y’all know my daddy is always right; we only have one life. Make it count! ‘Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know the testing of your faith produces perseverance.’ (James 1:2-3)”
